IN MEMORIAM Julio Balderrama, † June 1995 – June 2021.
An outstanding trait of his policy on intelligence —avoiding originality. Every discipline features a hidden cognitive truth, which perhaps might be enunciated thus —those who cannot think borrow ideas; those who actually think, conversely, know for a fact that a connection whatsoever between ideas does not exist, even less any sense of ownership. For in fact most ideas have already been thought.

Moreover, thinking something should lead to a sense of restlessness for not having thought everything. Seriously considered, the many-sided face of falseness never stops being a latent threat. On the contrary, thinking something thoroughly leads to grasp that the idea thinks the thinker, and in that melting of childish egotism the so called originality takes on it dimension of a baby rattle toy. Julio Balderrama was well aware of all that; that is the reason why he just put into practice.
